Tottenham turn down $114 billion: ‘How much would you pay for Kane to go to Munich?

Bayern Munich’s offer for Harry Kane has been rejected by Tottenham Hotspur.

“Tottenham are not willing to accept Munich’s €80 million ($114 million) bid for Kane,” transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter on Tuesday (July 10). It is not an amount that will satisfy Tottenham.”

The Bavarians were unable to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski’s departure to FC Barcelona (Barça) last season. It almost cost them the Bundesliga title.

In order to avoid repeating their mistakes, they were keen to add top quality reinforcements. Kane wanted a move, too. He was tired of being on the sidelines, and with one year left on his contract at Tottenham, it was the perfect time to make a move. Their interests were aligned.

However, there was resistance from chairman Daniel Levy, who was unwilling to part with his main man. Each time Munich have offered a transfer fee, he has refused.

If Kane doesn’t sign a new contract and becomes a free agent in a year’s time without a transfer fee, Levy will have a lot to answer for. It will be interesting to see if Kane’s move to Munich is finalized this summer.먹튀검증
