Six injured after lightning strikes on Yangyang beach…one in cardiac arrest, breathing again
At 5:30 p.m. on the 10th, six men in their 20s and 40s were struck by lightning and injured at Seorak Beach in Jeonjin-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun. Among them, Mr. A, who was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest, returned to breathing and pulse within 10 minutes but remained unconscious먹튀검증, and Mr. B was reportedly in a confused state. “We responded to a report that ‘several people fell down after being struck by lightning on the beach,'” the fire department said, “and rescued people who were struck by lightning and swept into the water.”
Immediately after the incident, citizens and others at the scene reportedly performed CPR on the victims who collapsed before the emergency services arrived.
“It is understood that five of the injured, including the seriously injured, were sitting on the beach after surfing, and one person in his 20s with minor injuries was walking with an umbrella when the accident occurred,” the police said.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by analyzing surrounding CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to determine the circumstances of the accident and whether or not people were performing CPR.
