Seungtaek Oh, silver medalist at the 2018 Asian Games, won the KPGA Srixon Tour

Oh Seung-taek reached the top of the Srixon Tour tournament, the second division of the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) tour.

Seungtaek Oh recorded a final total of 11 under par, 129 strokes, in the 18th tournament of the KPGA Srixon Tour (total prize money of 80 million won), which ended at Gunsan CC (par 70, 6,782 yards) in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do on the 19th.스포츠토토

Oh Seung-taek, who went into a playoff with Baek-jun Kim, saved par on the 12th hole (par 5), the third hole of the playoff, and received 16 million won in prize money. Baekjun Kim recorded a double bogey on the 12th hole.

Seungtaek Oh is a silver medalist in the individual event and a bronze medalist in the team event at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games.

He joined the KPGA Tour Pro in December 2018 and debuted on the KPGA Korean Tour in 2021. His best result ever on the Korean Tour is a tie for 26th at the 2021 KPGA Championship.

Seungtaek Oh, who won his first professional win two months after being discharged from the military in July, said, “This is truly a new beginning,” and added, “I will do my best for the remaining Srixon Tour competitions and the Korean Tour qualifying tournament.”
