Local media outlet CalcioNapoli24 quoted Ahn as saying, “There is no cause for concern as he did not suffer any damage in the accident,” adding, “He was very surprised by the car accident, but he reassured those around him.”

This is the second time Ahn has been involved in a car-related incident in Naples. He made front-page news last November when his car was stolen while parked on the side of the road in front of his home.

Kim Min-jae, meanwhile, married Ahn in May 2020 and welcomed a daughter into the world the following year. Since then, he has played in the Chinese Super League, the Turkkiye Super Lig, and the Italian Serie A.

This season, Kim was the main defender for SSC Napoli, helping them win their first league title in 33 years and earning a nomination for the Serie A’s best defence award.

His performances have led to speculation of a move to Manchester United in the EPL.
