AFC held an executive committee online today (15th) and announced that it would hold the Women’s Champions League in the 2024-2025 season.

The 2022 AFC Women’s Club Championship was divided into East Asia and West Asia, with East Asia, Thailand’s Asian Skalas College, and West Asia, Uzbekistan’s Sogdiana Zizak, respectively.
The 2024-2025 season AFC Women’s Champions League will be held in the format of an invitational competition, and the AFC will reveal later how many teams will participate.
Meanwhile, the AFC decided to divide the ratings from the 2024-2025 season for the men’s club competition and significantly increase the prize money.
24 teams compete in the top club competition, the AFC Champions League Elite, and 32 teams compete in the AFC Champions League 2, the lower level.
In addition, 20 teams compete for the championship in the AFC Challenge League, which is the last level.
The prize money for winning the top-tier AFC Champions League Elite 2024-2025 season will increase to $12 million (approximately 16 billion won).
The prize money for winning the AFC Champions League in the 2023-2024 season is $4 million.
