4 pitchers from 3 clubs off the roster ahead of August…Oh, Sang-won Ha, Young-min Oh, Seok-joo, and Noh, Gun-woo expelled
Four players from three clubs have been expunged from the first team ahead of August.
The KBO announced the status of the first team expulsions on the afternoon of Aug. 31. Kiwoom Heroes pitchers Oh Sang-won and Ha Young-min, LG pitcher Oh Seok-joo, and Samsung pitcher No Gun-woo were removed from the first team.
Oh Sang-won is a rookie who was selected in the second round of the draft with the 16th overall pick. He appeared against Samsung on the 29th and 30th, giving up three runs on three hits and three walks in three innings. Ha Young-min has struggled in his last two games. He gave up two runs in ⅓ inning on the 28th and three runs in 2⅓ innings on the 30th.메이저놀이터
With the addition of Choi Won-tae, LG has reorganized its pitching staff. They still have 14 pitchers after Oh Seok-ju’s absence. There is a possibility that Lee Ji-gang will return to long relief. Manager Yoon Kyung-yeop also welcomed Lee’s return, saying, “If he throws one inning, I think he can be in the closer’s role.”
If Yoo joins the team, Lee Jae-won is the top priority for a return. In the second half of the Futures League, Lee went 9-for-19 with one home run and five RBIs in five games.
Noh Gun-woo, formerly known as Noh Sung-ho, has thrown 2⅓ scoreless innings in his last three games, but the details were unsettling. He allowed four hits and a walk.
